New South Wales Health has confirmed that 24 individuals remain hospitalized in seven Sydney hospitals following a terror attack that occurred on Sunday. Among those hospitalized, three are in critical condition, five are critical but now stable, and the remaining patients, including three children at Randwick Children's Hospital, are stable.

More than a dozen people who were initially hospitalized have recovered sufficiently to return home. Authorities note that the situation remains stressful for the patients and their families, and further updates on their conditions are expected in the coming days.

Well Sandra, the latest numbers that we have just received from New South Wales Health is that 24 people remain in Sydney's hospitals, seven of Sydney's hospitals, their loved ones by their bedsides in the aftermath of Sunday's terror attack. Now out of those patients, three people are in a critical condition while another five are critical but now stable. As for the rest of the patients, they're now thankfully all stable including three children at Randwick Children's Hospital. Now the good news is that means more than a dozen people taken to hospital on Sunday evening have now recovered enough to return home. As for those remaining, it's of course still an incredibly stressful time, Sandra, for both them and their families and we'll continue to update you on how they're doing in the coming days.
