The event, which blends endurance and strength challenges, started with 650 athletes and now anticipates 850,000 participants across 80 races in 23 countries in the coming year. Revenue projections for 2025 are estimated at approximately $140 million, driven by event ticket sales, affiliate gym memberships, and merchandise.

Hyrox positions itself as an accessible competition for all fitness levels, partnering with over 8,000 affiliate gyms worldwide. Monthly affiliation fees from these gyms contribute to the company's revenue. The brand distinguishes itself from other fitness events by encouraging continued gym membership and training, rather than pulling participants away from gyms. Other fitness brands, such as Lifetime Fitness, are launching similar events, but Hyrox continues to emphasize its broad appeal and leadership in the sector.

Welcome to the training lab in New York City, where pro athletes and everyday gym goers train together for a new kind of fitness race, High Rocks. When High Rocks came to the States in 2019, they had reached out to us, they had reached out to just all the gyms in New York City, just trying to get their name out there, hey come to this event, we want to teach you guys about this new new event coming. But what exactly is High Rocks? Launched in Germany by Olympic gold medalist Moritz Furste and veteran marathon and triathlon coordinator Christian Tutske, High Rocks first race in 2017 welcomed 650 athletes to its endurance and strength race course. Now, nearly a decade later, 850,000 people are expected to take part in 2025, with over 80 races in 23 countries, expecting to bring in nine figures in revenue and plans to grow to over 1 million participants next year. I couldn't believe it that you have these hundreds of millions of gym members and they go to the gym three, four, five times a week and they only train, they never have a competition, there's no gamification benchmarking involved, so you only train. Imagine everyone would be on a golf driving range and hitting the ball every day, but there are no golf courses existing, 18 holes, and do you think that would ever work as a business? Probably not. And so the business of High Rocks was born. And we are suddenly this new sport and this new solution that brings these people back to the gyms. And that is one of High Rocks' selling points, the major benefit for gym owners like who has seen member interest grow since becoming an official High Rocks affiliate. We've had some people in here from like Asia, Singapore, Bali, drop-in, Paris. You can search specific areas that you're traveling to and they pop up all the High Rocks affiliates. And while the race may look a lot like other fitness competitions, CrossFit, Spartan races, High Rocks brands itself as the race for everybody, marketing, accessibility and inclusion. When I wanted to get back into fitness, I used High Rocks as a goal. And that's why I started to want to train for it. And even as gym membership prices and other expenses weigh on consumers' budgets, race participants like Alexander aren't pulling back on spending. When it comes to maintaining my fitness and doing things for that, I'm not cutting back on that budget. I'd rather cut back somewhere else. I'd rather cut back on going out and drinking. I'd rather cut back on buying a nice bag or some shoes. High Rocks placing itself in partnership with the gym operators rather than positioning themselves in competition. All the other products actually are pulling people out of the gyms. Because when you sign up for a marathon, you don't need to renew your gym membership. You should run in the park, right? And you should do long runs. And you don't usually do that on a treadmill. And you don't need a gym membership for that. The training lab is one of 1,900 affiliate gyms in the United States and 8,000 affiliate gyms worldwide. With monthly affiliation fees of $100 to $150 contributing to High Rocks' annual revenue. They are like our training, literally our training clubs. They are the location where athletes train for our sport. And it's a sport some of the franchise wellness brands, like Lifetime Fitness, are looking to get in on. High Rocks has done a great job. You know, CrossFit Games is a great outlet for people who train specifically with a challenge in mind. They're all fantastic in all around for the consumer as it is for those companies who establish their right competition and the right execution with it. Lifetime is preparing to offer its own high intensity fitness competition called LT Games. We'll have our first event happening on October 11th and 12th where people can come to compete for LT Games. But it is, it's just another outlet for you to train more purposefully. High Rocks though still claims to lead when it comes to attracting athletes eager to push their competitive limits. I think it's like the New York City Marathon. You don't have three New York City Marathons, right? I don't think there is space for two or three others.
