Gilley, who is not from the area but had previous interactions with local law enforcement, is currently held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing. Hospital officials have stated that all victims are recovering, with one already released and others expected to be discharged soon.

When asked by the judge today what's the correct way to say his last name, Gilley replied, I don't wanna talk to you. He has pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes and is being held behind bars on a $100,000 bond. Gilley is set to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on August 12th. CBS News correspondent Lana Zak is in Traverse City, Michigan with more. In many ways, this is actually a story about people jumping into action. The sheriff tells me that witnesses were able to render first aid. There were several people who helped to subdue the attacker, one with a shopping cart, another with a pistol, while emergency personnel were on their way and they got here quickly. Three minutes from the time that those first 911 calls came in, that was the amount of time before that suspect was arrested and he's been identified as 42-year-old Bradford James Gilley. He's not from the area, but he had previously been here and had some interactions with local law enforcement several years ago. He now faces a terrorism charge and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder. As for those 11 victims, they are doing well and that's part of the good news here. One has already been released and officials at the hospital say that they are optimistic that more will be released in the coming days.
