Authorities have confirmed that ten people have died and twelve others, including two police officers, have been injured following a violent attack at Bondi Beach, New South Wales. The incident occurred during a Hanukkah party attended by families, children, and the elderly. 

Police report that up to two shooters were involved, using high-calibre weapons and deploying an improvised explosive device. The area remains under a 50-metre exclusion zone as police continue their investigation and urge the public to stay away from the scene.

Yeah, Barthi, look, that news is slowly filtering through as we hear those details, 10 dead, 12 injured, including two police. It is still a very frantic situation here. Police are still moving a lot of people around, and that exclusion zone, as they told me when they threw me out of it a short time ago, is still at around 50 metres. It's unclear if there is any remaining threat there. But what we're learning is that there were max two shooters, we believe, at this situation. We've seen those clips. We've seen what they were carrying. We are also now hearing confirmation of an IED, that's an improvised explosive device. So these were very organised, very calculated attacks that have taken place here. And obviously, with that calibre of weaponry that they had, they were able to take so many casualties so quickly. We also understand two of those responding police are among the injured. Of course, updates are still filtering through. Police are right now providing some updates to members of the media. We've heard from another witness a short time ago. I'm going to take you to what they said right now. I saw my community. People under blankets, helping people stay alive, people shot, things you wouldn't expect to see in Bondi. There were children and the elderly, families. Who was there today? It was a Hanukkah party. We have it every year at the beach. Police are still working with members of the community here who obviously distraught many who were around at the time of this incident. A lot of those people are in the streets now. Police are still working with a lot of emotional people on the scene. Others are learning this information and are coming down here. Police are reminding people that this is still an exclusion zone and a very, very active emergency zone. They don't want more people down here than they can handle. It's getting very testy at the scene. We've seen very, very emotional police officers. A very senior one was having a blow-up just a short time ago, throwing someone out who was just passing through. So emotions are running very, very high for both law enforcement and for members of the public who have suffered this incredible tragedy down here at Bondi.
