Rapper Snoop Dogg  has given awkward five-minute media interview ahead his AFL grand final performance. The controversial artist will be joined by Baker Boy and Mike Brady for pre-game entertainment.

The rapper, who has previous ties to the NFL, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to perform at what will be his largest live audience to date. 

The AFL restricted journalists from asking Snoop Dogg questions, a move that differs from previous years when other entertainers like Katy Perry and Robbie Williams were available for media interaction. Joining Snoop Dogg in the entertainment line-up are Baker Boy and Vera Blue, with Mike Brady also set to perform. Snoop Dogg promised a memorable show, hinting at special guests and remaining neutral regarding which team he supports.
