Pastor Lucas Miles joins us, a fearless warrior for Christ. That is the, and urges readers here to internalize the message warning that we have a faith and a country to save. So I'd like to welcome in now Pastor Lucas to National Report. Great to see you again. Can you tell us more a little bit about this book, Charlie's Forward? Did he share with you why he wanted to pen this forward? Look, Charlie's a friend and I've been serving as the Senior Director of TPUSA Faith underneath Charlie for about going on a year and a half now. And that was the honor of my life to really work alongside of him and underneath his leadership. He was a tremendous leader and friend and it is a great loss for this world. But as we're seeing, it's a great gain for the kingdom of God. And there's just a revival taking place all over this nation. And, you know, Charlie was, he was the hardest worker in his life, but his death is making even a greater impact on pushing back this kingdom of darkness and really the pagan threat that took his life. Did you see that on Sunday, Pastor? Folks, faces you might not have recognized before. Our church literally doubled in size on Sunday. So it was, and we're getting reports from all over the country. And look, this is a dividing line. We have a lot of pastors, you know, people have been writing me saying, my pastor didn't say anything. My pastor didn't even mention his name. And I never want to put pastors in a position where they have to say something. But this is, this is, this is the canary in the cage. And I think the church is waking up and recognizing that if we're not willing to recognize the greatest Christian martyr of our generation and even say his name in a church on Sunday morning, you're probably in the wrong church. And so we here at TPSA Faith, we work with, you know, previously 4,000 churches across America. I have a feeling that number is about to double or triple, but we have a lot of great churches that we can recommend for people. They can go to TPSAFaith.com if they want to find out more. But yes, there is a move of God happening right now, not just in America, but really around the world as a result of this. Yeah, and Charlie wrote, we have a faith and a country to save. How does that translate into action across church life, culture, civic engagement, all of it right now? You know, this past year, Charlie's language stopped from, we're trying just to save a nation to we're really trying to save Western civilization. And I think that, you know, here in his death, he's made such a great impact on that. And I think we actually have a chance, but we have to continue the fight. It's up to us. Now we are all Charlie and we have to pick up the baton. Charlie understood that there was a pagan threat, I think better than anybody. His whole life was, you know, an apologetical stance against these false ideologies as he stood up for truth. People have called him provocative, but he was only provocative if you were rebellious to the word of God, if you're rebellious to the truth. I call Charlie a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ. He lived really the prototype example of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. And he was willing to risk and give it all. And ultimately he did. Yeah, exactly. And preaching a nonviolent approach, right? Which would be the godly approach to things where you have conversation with folks who might have differing views, but you do so in a calm manner and hope to educate someone. You take away something from a conversation here. Plenty of tributes pouring in, Pastor. I wanted to share one from the Vice President. J.D. Vance said this. Now that Charlie's in heaven, I'll ask him to talk to the big man directly on behalf of his family, his friends, and the country he loved so dearly. You ran a good race, my friend. We've got it from here. And he's actually scheduled to host the Charlie Kirk Show just under 30 minutes from now. Can you talk to us about the relationship that maybe he shared, the friendship with the Vice President of the United States? I know that Charlie loved J.D. I don't wanna speak too much directly on their relationship other than that they were close and there was a deep appreciation. And Charlie was just so, I mean, I was actually, I was in the very room that I am right now, which is close to our headquarters in Phoenix the night that Trump won the election. And just seeing, the whole world saw Charlie's reaction of just all the hard work and all the effort to see President Trump and Vice President Vance just arrive to victory. It was just a great honor of his life. And so I know he would appreciate Vice President Vance taking the reins today. Absolutely. Lastly, just there's a lot of people hurting right now given what's happened. Pastor, do you have any words for them out there? Yeah, and I think this is ultimately the message of the book, Pagan Threat. Where we're at is really the result of a lot of trauma in this younger generation's life. Everything from 9-11 to COVID, to things like increases of school shootings, violence across this nation. People are hurting and they need the solution. The solution is Jesus Christ. I have a seven-step plan for Christians and for families as well as for pastors on how we get there. Yeah, welcoming God into your life instead of blocking him out.
