In a separate incident in eastern Ukraine, French photojournalist Antony Lalikhan was killed, marking the 14th journalist death since the start of the full-scale invasion.

“I believe they are ready for a lasting peace.” the U.S president wrote on social media after Hamas announced it was willing to release the hostages and hand over power to other Palestinians.
