He emphasized the increasing interest in women's basketball both in the United States and China, and expressed a desire to bring WNBA games to Macau or mainland China.

Adam, it's been six years since these games have been here. Talk to me a little bit about what it took to land this and to see this unfolding. Well, it took a great partnership with the Sands organization to come back here to Macau. It's actually been much longer since we played in Macau, all the way back to 2008 when we played here before the Olympics. But as you can see from the arena here, amazing fan base in China. Certainly, while we didn't play here for several years, we never really left. I mean, our games were televised here the entire time and interest has continued really unabated in the games themselves. When you're looking at China and you have roughly half a billion fans, more than the population of the United States, where is your vision for the NBA in this country? It's interesting. We announced a partnership with the Chinese Basketball Association today. They have a league here that serves the CBA and they also run the national team. And when we have this new rookie on the Portland Trailblazers, Young Hansen, in the league, they know they need to continue to generate more high-quality players, men and women. And it goes to the quality of their youth program, the quality of their training. So we entered into a partnership with them and we've had partnerships in the past. It used to be run by Yao Ming, but so now this guy, Mr. Guo, the new head of the CBA said, let's do more together to develop the game here, really at a youth level. And so that's, I think, over time, it's really about having great players here, because we know just like from having Yao Ming in the NBA and now that you play on the Portland Trailblazers, as much interest as there is in KD and LeBron and Step, if they have Chinese players in the NBA, that takes interest to a whole other level. When might we see a WNBA game here? I actually hope for very soon. We have to get through a new collective bargaining agreement with our players. That's for another discussion. But once we do, there's so much interest in women's basketball here. It didn't used to be the case in the old days and now everywhere I go, just in the United States, people want to talk about the WNBA now, and it's great. They want to talk about women's basketball here, and I think we'd love to bring a WNBA game to Macau or to mainland China. This is super exciting. Thank you for your time, Adam. Thank you so much.
