Authorities in National City are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead with apparent stab wounds in her home on East Division Street. The incident came to light when the woman's husband returned home and found the scene, encountering another man who then fled by jumping from a second-story window.

Police later apprehended the suspect, identified as Noel Trevino, who has been booked on a murder charge. The relationship between Trevino and the victim remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact National City Police or Crimestoppers.
