Jasveen Sangha, referred to as the 'Ketamine Queen,' has agreed to plead guilty to five federal charges for knowingly distributing ketamine to actor Matthew Perry, who died from an overdose. Sangha's lawyer had previously denied her involvement, but now states she is taking responsibility for her actions. 

Sangha is among five individuals, including Perry's friend, assistant, and two doctors, who have pleaded guilty to avoid trial. Authorities have emphasized their commitment to holding those involved accountable and hope these guilty pleas serve as a warning to others.

On Monday the Justice Department announced that Jasveen Sangha known as the Ketamine Queen agreed to plead guilty to five federal charges saying she knowingly distributed ketamine to Perry a successful actor and author whose struggles with drug addiction were well documented. Sangha's lawyer Mark Gergos had previously denied the allegations in a recent Peacock documentary. My client never met Matthew Perry has nothing to do with Matthew Perry. Now Gergos says his client is taking responsibility for her actions. Sangha is the latest of five people to avoid trial by pleading guilty including Perry's friend his live-in assistant and two doctors who charged Perry tens of thousands of dollars. These defendants were more interested in profiting off Mr. Perry than caring for his well-being. From the investigation's outset authorities promised to hold all drug dealers accountable hoping Perry's death and these guilty pleas send a clear message.
