London has observed the 20th anniversary of the coordinated bombings on its transport system, which resulted in 52 deaths and more than 770 injuries. The attacks, carried out by four suicide bombers during the morning rush hour, remain the deadliest in Britain since 1988.

Families of victims recalled the pain and loss experienced, while ceremonies across the city included moments of silence, wreath-laying, and tributes to victims, survivors, and emergency responders.
