A lot of us black artists really want to stay recognized for the work that we put in and for the work that we do. My brother Prophet putting together this coalition, this program was one of the most amazing things that could have ever happened to black music in the whole nine. I'm more than honoured right now to just be out here to support this cause. As the Black Music Action Coalition is marking its fifth anniversary, its president has hailed the coalition's work, insisting that its commitment to fostering equity and inclusion within the music industry remains steadfast.
