This marks the highest figure since June, with last month's number also revised upward. Despite the positive job market data, the Conference Board's consumer confidence index fell to 94.2, its lowest since April, indicating growing concerns among consumers. The present situation and expectations components of the confidence index also declined, reflecting a more cautious outlook.
