And say that despite the strikes, rubble and famine, there's nothing better to be found anywhere else. Where would I be displaced to? We've seen torture. We were told to go to safe zones, to go to humanitarian zones where there was nothing but humiliation and suffering, but there's nothing. We've reached the stage of begging so that we can live. Death is more merciful than living here. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks could be seen amassing at the Israel-Gaza border, as Israeli leaders have vowed to press on with a planned takeover on the city. As Gaza City's operations continue, the Israeli military said Sunday that its troops have returned to combat about four kilometres north, in the city of Jabalia. Saying it's working to dismantle Hamas tunnels and strengthen its control there.
