Families, many of them with children, were left sifting through the ashes of what little they had managed to bring with them during earlier evacuations. I am displaced from the northern Gaza Strip. We came to the safe zone, which they call safe. In Deir al-Bala, they say there's an evacuation in the area, we were only given five minutes. We gathered our belongings, everything we own, our food, our drink, and they bombed the camp. We're civilians, we're not terrorists. Where are the Arabs? Where is the Muslim nation? Where are the Muslims? What is our fault? And what is the fault of our children? Meanwhile, Israel has intensified attacks on Gaza City, which is the focus of its next occupation bid. Experts have warned that a ground invasion on Gaza City would displace over a million people and worsen humanitarian conditions in the Strip. Gaza's government media office on Thursday said an Israeli offensive launched in May this year had killed 9,000 civilians and injured over 36,000.
