These images are proof, Israel says, that hostages were taken to Gaza's biggest hospital. The Israeli military claims the CCTV footage shows Hamas bringing two foreign hostages into al-Shifa hospital. One appears to be dragged in, while another is pushed on a gurney. Hamas was hiding and murdering our hostages in Shifa hospital. Hamas was building terror tunnels underneath Shifa hospital. By now the truth is clear, Hamas wages war from hospitals, wages terror from hospitals. It's not possible to independently verify the Israeli military's claims. The images do appear to have an October 7th time stamp, the same day Hamas massacred roughly 1,200 people in southern Israel. Hamas responded by saying they've been brought to the hospital for treatment, but Israel believes it's starting to build a convincing case to justify its military operation at al-Shifa hospital, accusing Hamas of using it to hide a command centre underground. Late on Sunday, the Israeli military also released this footage, which it says shows a Hamas tunnel that's 10 metres deep and 55 metres long, and ending with a blast-proof door and firing hole. Israel's military spokesman says troops have not yet opened the door for fear it could be booby-trapped, but they suspect it leads to the Hamas-operated command centre. Hamas and medical staff have repeatedly rejected accusations that a command centre exists, but Israel insists it will unearth more evidence in the coming days to back up its claims.
