Internal disagreements have surfaced among Trump administration officials over the handling of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has previously promoted conspiracy theories about Epstein, is now facing criticism from both within the Department of Justice and from some MAGA supporters for withholding further document releases. 

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly considered resigning after a confrontation with Bondi, though President Trump has publicly supported both Bondi and Bongino. Meanwhile, some conservative activists have questioned whether the administration is being fully transparent about the Epstein probe, while FBI Director Kash Patel dismissed conspiracy theories and affirmed his continued service.

One day after posting on Truth Social, Bondi is doing a fantastic job. We're on one team, MAGA, and I don't like what's happening. Bondi has been at the center of criticism by some of Trump's most ardent supporters. She previously pushed conspiracy theories about sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein's life and death, but now Bondi is defending a decision to withhold releasing additional documents in the Epstein investigation. Those critics include some within the Department of Justice. Folks, the Epstein client list is a huge deal. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a MAGA celebrity with millions of his own social media followers, didn't show at work Friday and was weighing whether to resign after a heated confrontation with Bondi, according to CBS News sources. But Trump said he spoke to Bongino Sunday. Dan Bongino is a very good guy, I've known him a long time, I've done his show many, many times, and he sounded terrific, actually. No, I think he's in good shape. This is a self-inflicted wound. Meanwhile, at a conservative activist conference in Florida this weekend, prominent MAGA leaders questioned whether the administration is covering up findings from the Epstein probe. How many of you are not satisfied with the results of the investigation? Don't exaggerate what you don't got, and don't over-promise and under-deliver. Amid the turmoil at the Department of Justice over this issue, the FBI Director Kash Patel also weighed in on his future over the weekend, posting that conspiracy theories just aren't true and saying he would continue to serve under President Trump for as long as he calls on it.
