The storm will also cause tidal flooding, with water levels rising one to two feet above normal in some areas, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic region. The weather system is expected to gradually weaken after several days, leading to improved conditions.

The closer the ice bars are together, the tighter the winds, and we certainly have breezy conditions and we certainly have it as you look over the water. So boats are no go, but notice how everything's drifting northbound into our Tuesday. There's this big upper level low that's kind of stretching through this area. That's going to help enhance some of these showers and some of the thunderstorms that we're going to be dealing with. And notice it stays breezy all the way inland too. Keep that in mind. It's not just going to be a coastal thing. And if your low is right there, you get that onshore push here into places like the Mid-Atlantic. And that's going to mean that we'll see some tidal inundation one to two feet above normal for us here. So all things to keep in mind. Going into our Wednesday, it starts to fall apart Thursday.
