Good evening, Cameron Seraldo says his players have stepped up after he lit a fire under his side as Canterbury tries to become top dog. The coach had questioned player preparations after last week's loss to the Roosters. Cameron Seraldo put the Bulldogs on notice. The guys carry niggles and that and they just get through training instead of actually training and I'm going to stop that. If you can't train, it sort of results in a performance like that. The players responded. Training's gone up a notch. The intensity definitely was a bit higher on Monday and the boys have continued that throughout the week so yeah, I think it's been a good reaction to what was probably said last week. Now the Storms on alert for the bounce back. Probably the last couple of weeks they probably haven't been where they were early in the season but we expect them to come back on Friday night. Perhaps the bigger comeback would be Tino Fa'asua Malawi returning to Melbourne. I can honestly say that's the first time I've heard that this morning so unless the recruitment guys are keeping it from me or Tino's keeping it, we'd certainly like to have him back but I'm not quite sure he'd fit back into our cup at the moment. As Manly clings to the slightest possibility they'll play finals, pressure is mounting on Anthony Seabold. We all shoulder the burden together. We're all responsible for the results we generate as a club and we'll win together and we'll lose together. Their form player Tolu Kola says Seabs has been key in unlocking his performances. I think Seabs has given me a lot of confidence to just play my own style of footy and back my own play and that's definitely something that's helped me to kind of back myself and play confident.
