The Blue Jays' offense surged in the seventh inning with key hits from Beau Bichette and Addison Barger, extending their lead. Dodgers pitcher Shohei Otani recorded six strikeouts but was unable to make an impact as a hitter, going 0-for-3 with one walk. The victory ensures the series will return to Toronto, with both teams now needing two more wins to claim the championship.

Then in the seventh comes a flurry of offense from the Jays. Bichette lines the ball, deep left field. Including this RBI single from Beau Bichette. Ground ball, base hit! And another from Addison Barger. And Guerrero is home, it is six to one. After that home run you saw a minute ago, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has now broken the franchise record for most postseason runs, most home runs by a Blue Jay. And keep in mind, this is the first postseason where he has been hitting those homers. As for the superstar on the other team, Shohei Otani. An effective pitcher tonight with six strikeouts. But an ineffective hitter, the Jays were able to neutralize Shohei Otani at the plate. With a 0-3 record for Otani with one walk tonight. Now, the Jays win tonight guarantees two things. First of all, the series will return to Toronto Friday night. And potentially Saturday for a game seven. But whatever happens, this is now a best of three, Adrian.
