Josiah Carapani outstepping the Knights defence as the bottom dwelling Newcastle struggled to get themselves together. The Broncos galloped ahead Reece Walsh handing the honours to the man celebrating his 100th game. Gives it back on the inside for Walsh and after they've waited in fact he gives it back to The Knights eventually crossed giving the old boys something to smile about at the break but as they returned they couldn't contain Dean Mariner's magic. Bradman Best crossed to stay in touch winning a 30-meter chase though the Knights struggled to iron out their chinks. Broncos big man Payne Haas added himself to the score sheet then came Reece Lightning. Brisbane running in two more via their left edge and a final one to add to Newcastle's pain. The Broncos into fifth and guaranteed finals 350 reasons for their veteran to smile.
