Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has plead not guilty to charges of domestic violence-related murder, after he allegedly killed a Sydney couple with a police-issued handgun.

Beau Lamarre-Condon, a police officer, appeared via video link from Silverwater Prison and pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence murder and aggravated break and enter. He is accused of killing former Network 10 presenter Jesse Baird and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, who were found dead at Baird's Paddington home. Authorities allege Lamarre-Condon used his police service weapon in the incident and later disposed of the bodies on a rural property. The case, which will be heard in the Supreme Court, is expected to see Lamarre-Condon rely on a self-defence argument.

Family members and investigators attended the court appearance, with police reportedly having strong forensic evidence. The next court date has been scheduled, and the trial will further examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
