Weather conditions in New Mexico were reported as suitable for the fiesta, with no significant concerns about showers or storms in the area. While tropical moisture from Hurricane Pursilla impacted other parts of the southwest, the worst of the weather was expected to remain west of New Mexico, allowing the balloon event to proceed safely.

Those are the ballooners. Those balloons look like they're way too close, but I'm sure that they are safely being lifted, I guess. I think it's, is it the University of New Mexico balloon? Yeah, that's pretty cool. There you go. The control room leaked this out to me that this would be appearing just about three or four minutes ago. Good, good. I'm curious how you'd respond. How do you, what I want to know is how do you sponsor a hot air balloon to get like your face or name or organization? Yeah, absolutely. You want to get your face on one? Well, I don't think I can, that's in my tax bracket. No, I think that's a good idea. Let's see if we can get an AccuWeather balloon up there. That'd be cool. Yeah. I think that it would involve your face, and it'd be pretty good. Absolutely. All right. But people would probably start shooting at it, but you know, that's not a good thing to do for a hot air balloon. Probably not. It kind of went dark fast, Damien. Yeah. All right. I don't think showers and storms are going to be a concern. Worst of this will be west of New Mexico into Arizona as we close out the week. We are dealing with some airport delays into Dallas-Fort Worth. That's due to staffing, but we have, again, some minor delays in Chicago. But the rain-related delays, major delays at BNA in Asheville. Earlier, just moments ago, there were delays at Miami, and weather was attributed to the cause there. Spotty storms nearby, but it looks like that has lifted.
