The Australian women's cricket team has arrived in India to participate in a warm-up ODI series as part of their preparations for the upcoming Women's One Day World Cup. The team, captained by Alisa Healey, is focused on both their immediate opponents and the larger goal of World Cup success. 

Australia is looking to emulate the achievements of past teams from the late 1970s and 1980s, which won three consecutive titles. The ODI series against India is set to begin in Punjab, with the World Cup scheduled to start soon after.
