I'm here because I'm scared that our country is going. We're being invaded. There's 100,000 plus people who've come by small boats. I can't understand why the people that we see on the streets and in the hotels predominantly seem to be men of a certain age and there's not very many women. I'm totally against the rape of our younger children. The Labour government has announced that it intends to appeal the ruling, though it still plans to close migrant hotels in the long term. Authorities have a legal obligation to provide accommodation for asylum seekers while their cases are being reviewed. If the decision stands, the affected migrants have until September 12th to leave the hotel, to the chagrin of the counter-protesters. The people over there are being wound up by a very small story which deflects what's actually going on. The reality is it's not about a few people coming over in rubber dinghies. That is not a threat. The UK needs to do its share to deal with the incredible humanitarian crisis that's going on in the world. More than 111,000 have sought asylum in the UK in 2025 alone, an all-time high.
