That's one thing, but his attendance here leaves him vulnerable to the claim that this is more partisan than patriotic. Giving a speech backing in a political party in another country, that really does cross the line. Anthony Albanese accused former Prime Minister Scott Morrison for prioritising his political interests when he attended a Trump rally in 2019. G'day, Ohio. The Labor conference was the Prime Minister's last event in the UK. The Prime Minister is now in Abu Dhabi. We're here at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for Anthony Albanese to pay his respects. Later he'll visit a market and then meet with the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. Australia has a free trade deal with the UAE and it comes into effect this week. At the meeting later, Australia's recognition of Palestinian statehood will come up because Arab countries are key to the next steps in the process. This is a fleeting visit for Anthony Albanese here. He'll be here for just 24 hours before he heads home.
