Looking ahead, he expressed his commitment to his attacking style of play and emphasized the importance of achieving results with Forest, with his first match set against Arsenal.

When I first took over Spurs I didn't know any Aussie Spurs supporters and then all of a sudden there's thousands of them. I'll find out who the true Ange believers are and who's just on the gravy train. Those who backed him at Tottenham were rewarded with the Europa League triumph. Many thought that might save his job amid a poor Premier League campaign, but not Ange. I knew it was coming so it wasn't a surprise, so that's the one thing, I knew it was coming fair way before the final. He did deliver that second year trophy that he promised, he's hoping that comes even quicker at Forest. I may have to, to have a second year here mate. And while Ange Ball won't be compromised, he knows it's results that will matter most. We want to dominate the ball, we want to put pressure on the opposition, we want to score goals, but all of it with the end goal of winning football games.
