As expected, while talking about his work trying for a cease fire in Gaza, he criticised the recent moves to recognise Palestinian statehood. As if to encourage continued conflict some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognise a Palestinian state. The rewards would be too great for Hamas terrorists. But there was far more ridicule directed elsewhere in a speech that ran for almost an hour. He chastised the UN. What is the purpose of the United Nations? He slammed Europe on immigration policy. Your countries are going to hell. But his most scathing remarks were on climate change. It's the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world in renewables. By the way, they're a joke. The carbon footprint is a hoax. The Prime Minister was at an event today trying to attract US investment in renewable energy in Australia. I'm not a commentator. There's a room full of people wanting to invest. So in the end, the Prime Minister hasn't come away empty handed. He's got a date. But that wasn't the motivation or the purpose of Anthony Albanese's trip here. Tomorrow, it'll be his turn to address the UN General Assembly. That is exactly what we expected. And that's what we told people was going to happen. It appears easy for the French president to get in contact with Donald Trump. Guess what? I'm waiting because everything is frozen for you.
