Investigators have found no link between the suspect and the victim, and are continuing to examine the motive.

The incident occurred during an event at the club, with first responders arriving quickly and arresting the suspect within 30 minutes. Police credited the swift response by officers and patrons for preventing further casualties. One of the injured was a wedding host who was airlifted to a hospital and is in stable condition. Authorities are awaiting updates on other injured individuals.

It was a 23-year-old suspect who was arrested and charged with second-degree murder tonight. Police say they are investigating a motive, but they confirmed that he is an ex-employee of this country club where the shooting happened. They have found no link to the victim. First responders rushed in after gunfire erupted inside the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua. We have multiple casualties. They're staging in front of the golf course in the main building. Investigators say Hunter Nadeau, a former employee of the club, shot and killed Robert DeCesar with a handgun on Saturday evening. When I watched the news and they said a man was killed, I go, but that can't be my son. So that's what runs through your mind, it can't be. It just can't be. Evie O'Rourke is the 59-year-old victim's mother. His wife and daughter would have been next. I mean, that's where he was aiming. And he had already shot two people, so what do you do? The 23-year-old suspect, now facing a second-degree murder charge, was arrested in less than 30 minutes, according to authorities. Of events like this you see around the country or the world, to find someone in 30 minutes is pretty effective. Today, investigators said the quick response from police and patrons saved lives. This ended up being a fairly contained event. It lasted well under a minute, and it was not nearly as tragic as it could have been. Police said another victim injured was working at a wedding that was taking place here in the country club when the shooting happened as a host, that that person was shot in the face, was airlifted to a hospital in Boston, and is in stable condition.
