The Australian cricket selectors have named their squad for the upcoming Ashes series, with George Bailey reading out the list of players. Jake Weatherald was included after his performance in the Sheffield Shield, but his place in the starting lineup remains uncertain depending on whether Manus Labashain is chosen to open.

The squad also sees Sam Constance dropped to focus on his game, while Sean Abbott and Brendan Doggett are named as bowling cover, with Doggett tipped for a possible debut.
