UPS has identified the three crew members who died in a recent plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky, which left a total of 13 people dead and caused significant destruction in the city. The victims were named as Captain Richard Wartenberg, First Officer Lee Truitt, and International Release Officer Captain Dana Diamond. 

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash, having recovered data from the aircraft's black boxes. Investigators are examining the plane's recent maintenance history and reviewing both flight data and audio recordings from the incident. The affected runway at Louisville airport has now reopened and the airport is fully operational.

Now, the death toll has risen to 13 in Louisville, Kentucky, after a UPS plane crashed on Tuesday. The crash caused destruction spanning a half a mile of the city. Now, investigators are just trying to figure out what caused it. Meanwhile, the city is in mourning. The Teamsters Local 89 Union held a candlelight vigil for those impacted by the plane crash. The union's chaplain led those gathered in prayer and shared words of encouragement with the greater Louisville community. The mayor also spoke. We pray tonight for all 13 of the victims that we know, any other unknown victims and all of their families. When Congressman McGarvey, Governor Beshear and I were at the site yesterday when we saw the firefighters walking towards bodies that were still on the ground with the stretchers, it was too painful for me to watch. That was the moment that I had to turn away. Yet, I know that the pain that I felt in that moment is nothing compared to what the pain of the families are feeling right now who are searching for answers. We're searching for meaning just as every loved one of the victims. Let's bring in CBS News correspondent Nicole Valdez, who is live for us in Louisville. Nicole, we just learned the identity of the pilots involved in this crash. What can you tell us? Yeah, Elizabeth UPS releasing the names of the three men on board the flight when it crashed. Captain Richard Wartenberg, first officer Lee Truitt and international release officer Captain Dana Diamond. You see their faces here and part of the mayor's emotional message. There was in part towards the families of these three men again, a part of this deadly crash. We know there are only three of the now 13 confirmed dead. But of course, the company remembering them as they look ahead to trying to answer the question. What went wrong during takeoff? We heard from the NTSB earlier today. They told us that their investigation continues, but they are hopeful they will have some answers soon now that they have been able to take data from those critical black boxes on board lists. And Nicole, you mentioned the NTSB gave an update on the investigation. What else did they have to say? Well, they've already started pulling data from those. In fact, they were actually releasing photos earlier as they work to extract that data. Not only will they be looking at what the black box says, the flight data also be listening to the audio transcript from that takeoff. They're gonna be looking at the time it spent at the Louisville airport here, but they also want to sort of dig deeper on the time prior to this attempted flight. This plane actually spent several weeks in an airport in San Antonio, and there were some questions about did it undergo any maintenance? Was there anything that maybe was missed prior to this flight that should be taken into consideration? Was that potentially a part of why this crash happened? Why this engine failed? Certainly something the NTSB says they're going to look into at this point. They don't have any concrete information that there was a known problem prior to this crash. And Liz, I want to point out to as we stand outside the Louisville airport, the West runway where this crash took place or rather where that plane took off is now officially reopened.
