Anton Zavitsky claimed his second Grand Slam gold at minus 100kg, and Lea Fontaine added another gold to her collection in the plus 78kg division after a golden score victory.

Mongolia celebrated a home triumph as Gonchig Soren Batkoyag won gold in the plus 100kg division, delighting local fans. The event concluded with praise for the athletes' performances and recognition from high-profile Mongolian dignitaries, highlighting the significance of the Grand Slam for both the sport and the host nation.

It's the third and final day of the Ulaanbaatar Judo Grand Slam, and the heavyweights are ready to make their mark. At under 90 kilograms, Riku Okada faced Uma Bozarov. Okada took the lead with a yuko score and managed to transition into a hold-down, scoring Ippon and securing his first gold medal on the World Judo Tour in confident style. IJF head referee director Mr Armin Bagdazarov awarded the medals. In the under 78 kilograms, European champion Patricia Sampaio faced off against former world champion Umeki Mami. Sampaio was looking good all day, and the final was no different. Within the first minute, she claimed top spot on the podium, wasting no time. After a dominant day, she has made her mark in Ulaanbaatar. Genko Tour Bureau CEO, Mrs Namun Batulga, awarded the medals. Now I'm feeling really happy, but I felt really tired. But I said at the beginning of the day, today I'm tired, so I need to do this quickly. I can't do golden scores today, just throw and go it. Anton Zavitsky faced Zombor Vej at minus 100 kilograms. Zavitsky earned his second Grand Slam gold medal after dominating the contest. He scored a Wazaari and a Yuko, and held off Vej for the victory. Mongolia member of parliament Mr Sogdbataar Damdin awarded the medals. At plus 78 kilograms, Lea Fontaine faced Ginisuyo at minus 100 kilograms. In golden score, Fontaine had the edge and secured a decisive Yuko, enough to add another gold medal to her growing collection. Former president of Mongolia, His Excellency Mr Enkbayar Nambar awarded the medals. Gonchig Soren Batkoyag faced Artem Zolotukhin at plus 100 kilograms. He won the gold medal at minus 100 kilograms. A Yuko on the board was enough for the home hero to claim his gold medal. Mongolian state commissioner of physical culture and sports, Mr Bilegd Erdene Saikhan awarded the medals. I'm very happy to have won this medal here in my home country. I'm also really grateful for the amazing crowd and all of my supporters.
