While the U.S. signed an agreement with the U.K. last month, Trump acknowledged making a deal with the E.U. requires more work. I would say that we have a 50-50 chance, maybe less than that. Though he's thousands of miles from home, Trump is still fielding questions about the Jeffrey Epstein case. For the second day, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch on Friday interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend convicted of conspiracy in the repeated sexual abuse of young girls. I don't know anything about the conversation. The president did not rule out a pardon for Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison term. This is just not a time to be talking about pardons. Todd will come back with whatever he's got. Maxwell's defense lawyer said she is cooperating freely. President Trump was also working the phones today, speaking to the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia about the conflict at their border. And the King of Jordan says he also talked to Trump, stressing the need to end the war in Gaza and to provide more aid to help the catastrophic humanitarian situation. Weijia Jiang, thank you.
