Residents reported hearing sirens and smelling smoke, but no injuries were reported and the fire did not spread further. Police confirmed that none of the cars involved were stolen and have launched an investigation into the incident. The event has left the neighbourhood in shock, with affected car owners facing substantial repair costs.

Two other cars, one belonging to a pea-plater, also damaged. Whoever did this came prepared. Police say accelerant was poured over one of the vehicles. This is the first time for me to witness something like this. It's really scary. As for the owners... They were distraught, as they would be, you know? Anyone who has their car lit on fire, obviously, to pieces, it would be unfortunate. I'd be sad as well. I feel for them. I feel bad. It happened around 1 o'clock this morning on Harris Street. Residents heard the sirens and smelt the smoke. Oh, my God! Thankfully, no-one was injured and the cars didn't explode. This could have been so much worse. Residents are relieved the fire didn't spread to other cars. Police say the car was found in nearby driveways. Because you don't know if you're safe or not. Like, you think, leaving your car on the street, that you're going to come back and not find it like that. Police are investigating. They say none of the cars were stolen. Everyone's friendly around here, but we didn't think that would have happened last night. Leaving this neighbourhood in shock and four drivers with a big damage bill.
