The U.S. and U.K. signed an agreement last month, but the E.U. is not there yet. I think we have a good 50-50 chance. The sticking points are having to do with maybe 20 different things. Trump also spoke about the dire situation in Gaza, where the U.N. Secretary General says 1,000 Palestinians have been killed trying to access food. Children are the most vulnerable, but almost no one has enough to eat. This week, Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Whitkoff, said he and top negotiators went home after ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas fell apart. He posted on X, Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or acting in good faith. We will now consider alternative options to bring the hostages home. I think it's terrible what happened with Hamas. They tapped everybody along, and we'll see what happens. I don't know what response Israel has to that, but it's getting to be that time. According to an Israeli security official, the IDF is coordinating airdrops of aid into Gaza, expected to happen in the coming days. Several Middle Eastern countries tell CBS News they are also trying to move in more aid by air, sea, and land, but they must wait for Israel's green light.
