Kid Rock, along with other notable guests such as Hulk Hogan and Franklin Graham, will be present to close out the convention. Trump's wife, Melania, will also attend to watch her husband accept the party's nomination.

Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio, who is now the Vice Presidential nominee, delivered a speech highlighting his personal struggles growing up in rural Ohio. He discussed how policies from Washington impacted his hometown by shipping jobs overseas and closing factories. Vance assured the people of Middletown, Ohio, and other affected communities, that he would not forget his roots.

In light of recent events, there has been scrutiny over security measures after an assassination attempt on Trump. Congressional members questioned the head of the Secret Service at the RNC, demanding accountability and urging for her resignation.

Trump's wife, Melania, will also be there to watch her husband accept the party's nomination for president later tonight. Former President Donald Trump will then be giving his first public speech since the attempted assassination attack. This is very unified and exciting and a historic convention, and I think J.D. Meanwhile, as questions are mounting about how Saturday's assassination attempt could have happened, congressional members yesterday cornered the head of the Secret Service at the RNC, pressing for answers and calling on her to resign. You owe answers! You owe answers to the Senate, to the House, to the President, the past President, and you owe answers to the people of this country. The President should have just been a protector, crying out loud. We were on the forefront of this country in our ranks. Now, according to Trump and his team, after the attempt on his life on Saturday, Trump ripped up his speech to write a new one focused on unity. That speech expected to happen at 9 p.m. tonight.
