Yevheny Khmara, head of the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Unit, will serve as the interim head of the agency as the search for a permanent appointment continues. The reshuffle also includes changes to Zelensky's office staff, with military intelligence chief Kirill Obudinov appointed to head that role. Foreign intelligence service chief Oleh Ivashchenko was assigned to replace Obudinov's former office, becoming the new chief of the HUR agency. Mykhailo Fedorov, previously Ukraine's minister for digital transformation, has now become the country's new defense minister. Zelensky also announced on X a few days ago that a familiar face and former foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba has now rejoined the government.
