Trump heads to the Middle East amid Gaza ceasefire

Tonight, President Trump is headed to the region. The president boarded Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He'll address the Israeli parliament Monday, then head to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to witness the signing of the peace agreement. CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Nancy Cordes is there. Nancy, this is a historic moment for the Middle East and President Trump. Many have questioned his unique deal-making, but he has achieved what's evaded others. He certainly has, Kelly, and White House officials say it was the time and the effort that he put into his relationships with Israeli leaders and Persian Gulf leaders that really enabled him to have the leverage and credibility to get this deal across the finish line. But they admit that there are still many things that could go wrong. They know that there are past ceasefires between Israel and Hamas that have fallen apart, and so that's part of the reason the president has traveled here to flesh out the details of his 20-point plan to try to make sure things stay on track. Well, to that end, the president is gonna meet with other world leaders in Egypt tomorrow. What does he hope to accomplish? One of the main things they're working on is what does Gaza look like after the war? Who is going to govern it? Who is going to rebuild it? How much is it going to cost? One of the things that President Trump is going to be doing here in Sharm el-Sheikh is leaning on regional leaders, in particular from wealthy nations, to help foot the bill for rebuilding.
