Australia secured a win over the West Indies in a T20 international at Warner Park, with Tim David starring by scoring the fastest 50 by an Australian in international T20s and reaching a century off just 37 balls. David's innings, which included four consecutive sixes and several dropped catches, was instrumental in helping Australia chase down a target of 214 runs.

West Indies' Shea Hope also scored his first international century, but it was not enough to secure victory for his team. Both sides acknowledged areas for improvement, particularly in fielding and execution, as they look ahead to the World Cup. Australia now leads the series 3-0, with the next match scheduled to take place at the same venue.

I don't play for records, but certainly I didn't think I'd get the opportunity to score 100, and it is your childhood dream to score 100 for Australia. As for if it was an audition to show he's not just a finisher and can bat up the order... Absolutely not. I was just having a great time out in the middle, playing for the Australian team, and every opportunity we get to play out here, we want to make the most of it. Shea Hope made the most of the short boundaries as well, also scoring his first international ton, making the loss even more disappointing. We haven't been executing the way we wanted to. You know, we need to make it a lot more difficult for the opposition batters to score freely. Australia's fielding again wasn't perfect, something to work on with the World Cup six months away. I think every series wins are really special, especially with a youngish group and guys getting opportunities. So, yeah, certainly wrapped to be 3-0 up after three games.
