A three-year-old boy was found alive under rubble after an Israeli airstrike struck an apartment in Gaza City, killing his mother, father, and two siblings. According to local health authorities, he joins more than 49,000 children in Gaza who have lost one or both parents due to the conflict.

The airstrike is part of intensified bombardments in Gaza City, with reports indicating that entire families are being killed in shelters and tents. UNICEF has stated that, on average, 28 children are killed in Gaza each day. The boy, identified as Ibrahim, survived with minor physical injuries but faces significant emotional trauma.

UNICEF says Israel is killing a classroom full, an average of 28 children, in Gaza every single day. Young Ibrahim survives with a few scrapes to his face and a bandaged leg.
