Mother Nature is far from being done with the winter season. Three separate storms will bring snow to parts of the Great Lakes and Northeast late week. Totals in some areas could soar over a foot.

A succession of three storm systems is expected to bring multiple rounds of snow to the Great Lakes and Northeast regions over several days. The first system is already affecting the area and will move out by Thursday, followed by a second system arriving Thursday and moving into the Northeast by late Friday into Saturday.

A third storm is forecast to reach the Great Lakes by the end of the weekend. Snow accumulations could exceed a foot in some locations after all three systems pass. There is also a possibility of snow in the South, with further updates anticipated.
