Authorities in Portage County, Ohio, are investigating an attempted theft at Portage Community Bank in Rootstown. Thieves used construction equipment, specifically a skid steer, in an effort to steal an ATM from the bank on Talmadge Road. 

Police later discovered the skid steer abandoned in nearby woods, with the ATM found on the ground close by. It remains unclear if any suspects have been apprehended or if any cash was taken during the incident.

Now we're working to find out if there were any arrests or if the thieves got away with any cash.
