Ongoing testing and construction will continue to impact local roads and bus services, with at least eight more full or partial closures of the M1 line expected. Once operational, the metro is anticipated to significantly reduce travel times for commuters across several routes.

Marrickville commuters will shave off 12 minutes, while Camsie to Macquarie University is 17 minutes quicker. It used to take me two and a half hours to get to Macquarie University.
