A 16-year-old girl, Aaliyah Williams, was fatally stabbed inside a neighborhood deli in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx. Police responded to the incident and found Williams with multiple stab wounds; she was transported to Jacoby Medical Center in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

Authorities are searching for a female suspect last seen wearing all black, white sneakers, and a red or pink headpiece. No arrests have been made, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers hotline. The victim's family and local community are mourning her loss.

Good morning to both of you. 16 year olds. Aaliyah Williams. That is the name of the victim. She actually lived right down the block from this deli behind me where she was stabbed to death. And today, while police have not made any arrests, they say they are looking for a female suspect. She was last seen wearing all black, white sneakers and a red or pink headpiece. According to the N. Y. P. D. 47th precinct officers responded to deli grocery located at the intersection of Boston Road and Mickle Avenue. Just before four o'clock yesterday afternoon, Williams was found with stab wounds to her face, chest and body and rushed to Jacoby Medical Center in critical condition where she was later pronounced dead. Aaliyah's grandmother, Rose Anderson, was at work when she learned that her granddaughter had been fatally stabbed. It's sad, really sad to take someone's life like that. She's a beautiful kid. She's a nice child would be having to the only thing I know about her. She's a people's person. Yeah, she have manners to go to school and she's a very good listener.
