A 63-year-old Sydney schoolteacher, Peter Adam, who worked at International Grammar School for seven years, has been charged with multiple child abuse offences. Police allege Adam was involved in plotting the sexual assault of children, following the arrest of a co-accused and the discovery of incriminating text messages.

Adam was arrested at his Bondi home and faces charges including inciting aggravated sexual assault and soliciting child abuse material. He has been stood down from his position, and the court denied him bail, citing the strength of the evidence and the seriousness of the allegations.
