A woman has been found with significant injuries on a rural road in NSW three days after she was allegedly abducted during a home invasion in Sydney’s southwest.

Police are investigating the suspected abduction of a 42-year-old woman who was found injured and barefoot near Eagles Road in Razorback, New South Wales. The woman had reportedly disappeared for three days after being taken from a property in Revesby during an armed home invasion. She was discovered near a family home, where police found duct tape and tyre tracks, suggesting she may have been released or escaped. The case is being handled by the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad under Strike Force Wheatbelt. The woman remains in hospital care as inquiries continue.

I'll now go ahead and put a lockable gate up at the front and put security cameras in. It's very disconcerting, very upsetting. But police say she was taken from a property in Reavesby during an armed home invasion at seven o'clock on Sunday night. How she ended up an hour's drive away, a major part of the investigation. There's tyre tracks where somebody's reversed on the downside of our bins, which would indicate that somebody's turned around up there and, well, driven out. The investigation's now in the hands of the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad under Strike Force Wheatbelt, and those inquiries are ongoing. As for the 42-year-old woman, she's spending another night in the care of hospital staff. Let's just hope the lady's fine. Olivia Blunden, 10 News.
