The S&P services PMI for August was revised downward from an initial reading of 55.4 to 54.5, indicating a weaker performance than previously reported. The composite PMI also saw a slight decrease, moving from 55.4 to 54.6. This revision follows other recent economic data, including a lighter-than-expected ADP jobs number and weaker JOLTS data, which have contributed to a modest decline in bond yields. Market participants are now turning their attention to upcoming jobs and inflation reports for further direction.
