It's a sight to behold off the port of Al-Saleef. The Galaxy Leader was anchored in the harbour under tight security till recently. Today, we are on board of the Israeli ship, the Galaxy Leader, that has turned into an attraction. Instead of being a shipping vessel for the Israelis, it turned into an attraction for Yemenis from all provinces. A big number of Yemeni people are touring it every day. Instead of going to parks and beaches, they are now visiting the Galaxy ship. Now it's pulling in the crowds and is increasingly a place of fun and recreation. The visitors arrive on boats and are given a full tour. They see it as an act of solidarity. All this is in defence of our brothers in Gaza and the children that are being struck and killed at hospitals and the women in their homes. But its new status as a tourist attraction is also a message to all nations allied to Israel. Your ships are not safe here. The Houthis captured the whistle despite the presence of US aircraft carriers nearby. About 30% of the world's maritime container traffic pass through these waters, about 50 ships a day. That's a massive headache for ships headed through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea and anyone trying to stop them without opening a new front in a volatile region. Shoaib Hassan, TRT World.
