Some areas in the Phoenix metro region received over three inches of rain within three days, contributing to a prolonged period of wet weather. This rainfall has made the month one of the wettest Octobers on record for Phoenix.

Some parts of the Phoenix metro area got more than three inches of rain over three days. By Tuesday, five straight days of rain made this October the third wettest on record for Phoenix.
