Rugby Australia has joined union giants New Zealand and South Africa in banning players from international matches if they sign to the breakaway R360 competition.

Rugby Australia has aligned with several major rugby nations, including New Zealand, South Africa, and European test teams, to prohibit players from international selection if they join the new R360 competition. The R360 league is reportedly offering multi-million dollar contracts to entice players, including some from the National Rugby League (NRL).
